Kia Ora and welcome to Term 3.

Sadly I am already a victim of the winter germs, I know it tough in the winter, lets try to keep hands clean, use tissues, stay home and eat well to fight against these bugs!

Room 9 is soon to move to Room 3, so we will be changing our name but little else. Learning will carry as normal in the classroom. This term we are looking at the sea as our natural resource in Inquiry learning, what do we use from the sea and how do we get it?

The Rugby World Cup is a big event and we are really looking forward to getting familiar with all the countries participating and the importance of RESPECT in a team, to visitors and in a game setting.

The students of Room 9 are growing fast, learning fast and daring to dream. We all working together, learning to care for each other and support each other. We have two new students Tayla from Christchurch and Shakaia from Hastings. We sadly had to say ka kite to Shakia at the end of Term 2.

Visit to Millard Farm

On Monday we went to see Peggy Se out sponsored pig. She has had 6 piglets. We are saw, goats, sheep, cows, chickens and ponies. We were able to feed the animals, splash in the mud and there was a big hollow tree that we were able to climb. Loads of fun! We are writing about or visit and some of our writing will be up soon
